Bluetooth testers add EDR and audio
capabilities
Test instruments must be able to analyse not only the relevant EDR parameters on Bluetooth modules and instruments but also the transmitted audio signals.
The new Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR standard has three-times the datarate of earlier versions, and so is ideal for use in headsets and hands-free equipment for mobile phones To ensure that this equipment functions smoothly, test instruments must be able to analyse not only the relevant EDR parameters on Bluetooth modules and instruments but also the transmitted audio signals
