An online RFID shop caters for small to medium size businesses and system integrators who want a 'one stop source' for RFID readers, reader antennas, tags, system components and printer encoders

RFIP has launched an online RFID shop specifically designed to cater for small to medium size businesses and system integrators who want a 'one stop source' for RFID readers, reader antennas, tags, system components and printer encoders. 'One major factor that has slowed the uptake of RFID has been the nonavailability of RFID system components in small quantities', said David Armstrong, Director of RFIP.

'There is a real need for a source of small-volume 'plug-and-play' RFID solutions from multiple vendors to kick start the use of RFID'.

'RFIP removes complexity from the installation and application of RFID technology so making it much easier for companies to trial and implement RFID systems in their businesses'.

The RFID Shop has negotiated supply arrangements with a number of ISO and EPC approved chip and RFID equipment suppliers, including ACG, Caen, In2Connect, iPico, Magellan Technology, MaxID, Poynting Antennas, ScanSource, SmartID, Texas Instruments and X-Ident.

The RFID Shop will add to its product portfolio as demand requires.

The motto is 'If it's not on the shelf, we will get it for you'.

The RFID shop is supported by RFIP Solutions and RFIP Training which respectively offer specialised technical support/consulting and comprehensive training in all aspects of RFID.
