Riello UPS has received the 2005 Frost and Sullivan European Energy Excellence Award for Competitive Strategy Leadership

The awards ceremony was held recently at the Hotel Russell in London and recognised the achievements of the major power protection and conversion companies in the industry. Within the European uninterruptible power supplies market, Riello UPS has consistently achieved more than double the overall market expansion rate of 4-5%.

A growing brand presence and customer base has been achieved through acquisitions, innovation and heavy R and D investment.

The company now supplies one of the most comprehensive UPS product portfolios in Europe supported by local customer service facilities.

In the award citation Frost and Sullivan noted that: 'Riello UPS has clearly gained reputation amongst customers with it ranking above some of its nearest rivals in the recent Frost and Sullivan UPS in UK hospitals customer opinions study'.

'It showed that Riello had good customer understanding and best emergency response amongst other categories beating other established brands'.

Receiving the award on behalf of Riello UPS Manufacturing, Robin Koffler, General Manager for the UK subsidiary commented: 'The Frost and Sullivan award clearly demonstrates that more and more customers are recognising Riello UPS and selecting our products for their applications'.

'It is wonderful to be asked to receive this award on behalf of Riello UPS in such prestigious company'.
