More than 400 exhibitors are now confirmed for Nepcon UK 2006, to be held from 9th to 11th May at the Birmingham NEC

Combined with the event's improved facilities and wide array of educational attractions, the growing exhibitor base looks set to consolidate Nepcon's status as the UK's leading showcase for the electronics industry. 'The latest exhibitor list is testament both to the renewed sense of confidence dominating today's electronics markets, and to Nepcon's status in the industry as a whole', explains Nepcon Sales Manager, Claire Jeffreys.

'The Nepcon team consistently strives to deliver an event that is simultaneously representative and informative'.

'This year's comprehensive exhibitor list embodies this commitment, providing visitors with an extremely attractive proposition'.

'As sales continue to go from strength to strength, this is one trend showing no signs of abating'.

A wide range of industry leaders are set to feature among the 400 confirmed Nepcon exhibitors, including Pace, Siemens, Universal, Mydata, DEK, Europlacer, Astro, Contax, JUKI, GNKT, Anglia and RS Components.

In addition, Nepcon 2006 welcomes the participation of organisations such as Teknek, Indium Corporation and Tyco, all returning after having opted out of Nepcon events held in recent years.

Sealing the event's stature and the market's own restoration, Nepcon 2006 has also attracted a wide array of first time exhibitors, including General Hybrid and KRP Power Source.

The Nepcon 2006 schedule will build on the event's reputation as a valuable knowledge resource with a comprehensive programme of educational events.

In addition to the main exhibition, Nepcon 2006 will host a range of informative seminars centring on the issue of lead-free compliance, hosted by the SMART Group and the British Standards Institute.

Continuing the topical lead-free theme, Nepcon will also showcase the latest findings from the SMART Group's Europe-wide Leadout initiative, aimed at helping small and medium sised manufacturers transition to lead-free confidently.

Nepcon's ever-popular 'UK can make it' feature will be making a welcome return at the 2006 show, uniting dynamic UK manufacturing services businesses to provide visitors with an insight into current industry activity.

In addition, official Nepcon events will be boosted by the activities of the Electronics Yorkshire team, who are bringing the UK's only mobile training unit specifically developed for the electronics industry to the Birmingham exhibition halls.

Electronics Yorkshire training experts will be on hand for the duration of the show, offering visitors the opportunity to participate in practical test demonstrations and training exercises.
