The RM range of plastic enclosures from Pactec offers considerable cost savings over equivalent sized metal enclosures. Suitable for rack-mounting or stand-alone applications in telecommunications, data communications and networking, security and medical instrumentation, they are attractive packages that can be quickly and easily adapted to customer requirements. Two standard sizes are offered: 356 x 152 and 432 x 152mm, both with a height of 43mm.

Standard colours are black or beige and there is a choice of vented or unvented models.

Vented versions use UL/CSA vent patterns.

Customisation options include connector cutouts, LCD windows and the addition of keypads and fascia overlays.

The enclosures offer a variety of PCB and component mounting features including card guides.

EMI/RFI in nickel or copper shielding is also available.

Radiatron can provide 3D computer-generated renderings and prototypes within a few days, and production quantities are typically available in 3-4 weeks.
