This week at the Embedded Systems Expo and Conference, Radisys unveiled the industry's first, standard microATX motherboard to support Intel's new range of mobile Pentium M processors.

This week at the Embedded Systems Expo and Conference, Radisys unveiled the industry's first, standard microATX motherboard to support Intel's new range of mobile Pentium M processors The LS855 motherboard now expands the Endura range of motherboards to address the needs of embedded low-power computing applications such as point of sale terminals, kiosks, ATM machines, lottery terminals, medical equipment, industrial control and test and measurement applications

These applications also demand a rich set of I/O functionality along with ECC memory.

Today OEMs are designing embedded equipment destined for environments where low power consumption and low heat emission are paramount.
