Developed using multilayer metal film technology, the HVR series of high-voltage resistors are designed for use in circuits that demand high resistive values, stability and reliability when submitted to high working voltages. The high pulse loading capability provided in its small size makes the HVR resistor suitable for use in TV and monitor circuits, ballasts and switch mode power supplies. Mechanical, electrical and climatic protection is supplied by its nonflammable blue lacquer coating, which is also resistant to all cleaning solvents, according to international standards.

The high voltage resistors are available in HVR25, HVR37 and HVR68 styles, with powers of 0.25, 0.5 and 1W and resistive ranges from 100kohm to 1.2Mohm, 100kohm to 33Mohm, and 100kohm to 10Mohm, respectively, all with a tolerance of 5%.

The HVR25 and HVR37 are also available in versions with a tolerance of 1%.
