Phoenix reckons it is one of the first and few passive components suppliers to offer a complete lead free resistors portfolio. The lead-free technology used in Phoenix products is perfectly suitable for soldering and immune to the formation of monocrystals (whiskers) on the wires' surface, as shown in the company's "Whiskers formation test report", now available as a PDF file from the Phoenix Passive Components website. Phoenix lead-free resistors are compliant with the European ELV and RoHS directives.

The total elimination of lead from the company's product lines confirms Phoenix Passive Components' commitment not only to our internal policy but also to environmental responsibility and to the necessities of its customers.
