The SR37 family of surge resistors is composed of a multilayer metal film deposited on a high-quality ceramic body. The resistors are provided with a nonflammable blue coating, which protects them from climatic and mechanical agents and is also resistant to cleaning solvents, meeting MIL-STD-202, method 215 and IEC60068-2-45. These characteristics make the surge resistors suitable for a wide range of applications, including TV circuits, monitors and power supplies, and also a good replacement for carbon-composite resistors.
