Powersolve has introduced the ESA24 series of plug-top adaptors, designed for both ITE and medical system applications.

The new power adaptors accept a universal 90-264VAC input and provide single outputs from 3.3VDC to 24VDC.

They meet the latest CEC requirements and feature minimum 85 per cent efficiency levels and a no-load input power figure of 0.5W maximum.

Ground leakage current is a maximum of 10uA.

The ESA24 series comes with interchangeable AC plugs for the UK, the US, the EU and Australia, although Powersolve can supply plugs to suit other countries on request.

Providing up to 24W, the adaptors have single outputs giving 3.3VDC, 5VDC, 9VDC, 12VDC, 15VDC, 18VDC or 24VDC.

Housed in a compact plastic enclosure measuring 88 x 48 x 29mm, output is via a 1.2m flying lead with a 2.1 x 5.5 x 11mm barrel connector as standard.

Other connector types are available as an option.

In addition to meeting CEC requirements, the ESA24 series complies with all relevant international safety standards as well as EMC compliance to EN55022'B', CISPR 22 'B' and FCC'B'.
