The CITS800s controlled impedance PCB test system claims new standards for accuracy, repeatability and low cost of ownership.

Successor to the CITS500s, and employing the industry proven CITS technology, the CITS800s controlled impedance PCB test system claims new standards for accuracy, repeatability and low cost of ownership.

Designed as a robust impedance test system for the PCB industry, the new CITS800s features, enhanced data logging capabilities, crosstalk measurements, and enhanced measurement capability on closely coupled differential traces.

Additionally the CITS has also become popular with OEMs for supplier qualification.

"Polar CITS has become the generic term in the fabrication industry for impedance test", remarks Neil Chamberlain, European Sales Manager.

"The new CITS800s is the sixth generation impedance test system from Polar.

The addition of improved data logging, plus links to professional SPC software and enhanced levels of calibration mean that CITS is now ready to test the next generation of complex multiple dielectric PCBs." Available with two, four or eight channels, there is a CITS model to suit every impedance test requirement.

And should users need to automate impedance testing the CITS can also support testing on Polar RITS510 and RITS520a automatic impedance test systems.

CITS800s is a time domain reflectometry (TDR) based measurement system which enjoys high repeatability and accuracy.

The CITS precision TDR heads are protected behind two stages of internal ESD discharge systems ensuring ownership costs are kept to a minimum.
