Polar Instruments will be launching the latest addition to its RITS family of controlled impedance testers on Stand 114 in Hall A2 at Productronica.

Polar Instruments will be launching the latest addition to its RITS family of controlled impedance testers on Stand 114 in Hall A2 at Productronica.

The new system will be the first to offer PCB manufacturers reliable, repeatable impedance measurement of full size panels.

RITS testers use time domain reflectometer technology with high precision reference airlines traceable to NPL and NIST standards to ensure accuracy and repeatability of the impedance measurement.

Intuitive Windows software makes the systems easy to set up and use, and provides a range of data logging and reporting functions.

The company says that the new model to be launched at the show will be suitable for volume production of panels up to 22 x 24in.

Also on display at Productronica will be Polar's leading range of Toneohms for tracking shorts/opens and problems on mP buses, impedance signature instruments for general-purpose fault tracing, and advanced impedance measuring systems for use in PCB manufacture.

Polar's latest PC-based controlled impedance field solver, Si6000B, will be available for demonstration on the stand.
