Units deliver high power RF protection
The new SXL series of surge and lightning protection units deliver high power RF protection across a wide bandwidth enabling the same units to be used for many different applications
Featuring multiple-strike capability and low throughput energy, SXL devices come in fully weatherproof housings. SXL RF protectors provide surge capabilities in accordance with IEC100-4-5, 8/20us at 18kA (minimum) (DIN 30kA) and IEC 1000-4-5, 10/350us at 10kA. Frequency ranges covered are as follows: 800-2300MHz, DSXL and DSXL-D; 1200-2800MHz, PSXL; 1700-2300MHz, PSXL-D; LSXL, 1800-3800 and 4200-6000MHz.
Return loss for the SXL series protectors is above 26dB (above 20dB for the LSXL units).
Insertion loss is -0.1dB (0.2dB typical for the LSXL), and RF power is 300W for N connectorised devices (10W LSXL) or 750W using 7/16 DIN DC blocked connectors.
Surge throughput energy is less then 500uJ (6kV/3kA 8/20us); peak let-through voltage is +/-1V (6kV/3kA 8/20us).
