Photometers and colorimeters cross the pond: News from Pro-Lite Technology

Pro-Lite Technology has signed up to act as the official distributor for Radiant Imaging's ProMetric range of CCD imaging photometers and colorimeters in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Radiant Imaging is a global technology leader in applying CCD technology to test, measurement and inspection solutions for the display, LED and illumination industries. ProMetric CCD measurement systems are fast, photometrically accurate, and flexible 2D light and colour measurement and defect inspection tools.

Radiant Imaging's Radiant Source software library is a software-based light source characterisation database which contains full spatial and angular output data for a wide range of light sources, and provides real-life source data as input for the industry's leading optical design software packages, including ASAP, LightTools, Speos, TracePro, Oslo and Zelum/Zemax.

Radiant Source measurements are performed using the company's Source Imaging Goniometer, a near-field CCD imaging auto-goniometer used for rapid characterisation of light source spatial emissions.

Radiant Imaging's President, Ron Rykowski commented: "Pro-Lite are an established supplier of tools for optical radiation metrology and will serve Radiant Imaging's customers with specialist support geared to helping them select and get the most from their investment".
