DVStation gains OmniView
OmniTek and Pixelmetrix have formed a strategic partnership to enhance the capabilities of the DVStation family of products
OmniTek and Pixelmetrix have formed a strategic partnership to significantly enhance the capabilities of the Pixelmetrix DVStation family of products. The two companies have worked to integrate OmniTek's OmniView product - a multiformat software-programmable digital waveform monitor and signal analyser package that works in conjunction with OmniTek's hardware - and the DVStation family that allows remote monitoring of signals from studio to home, at the behest of key broadcast clients.

China's SARFT Test Centre has fully certified the Pixelmetrix DVStation to receive high-quality digital television signals
DVStation allows the monitoring of thousands of parameters within hundreds of digital television signals in the MPEG domain across an entire network from a single location.
By integrating OmniView's ability to monitor all SD and HD formats, DVStation is now able to also monitor signals in the uncompressed domain.
Working in the same way as the existing DVStation family, OmniView will be polled over an IP network of the broadcasters' choice and, using a set of parameters determined by the user, will be able to accurately and quickly determine the status of a given signal or set of signals.
