India-based Jopasana Software and Systems and UK-based Pi Technology have signed an agreement to jointly execute projects for Pi Technology customers. The two companies have agreed to an exclusive arrangement for business generation and execution in the domain of automotive electronics. This makes Jopasana the primary codevelopment partner for Pi Technology in India.
The relationship will add to Pi Technology's product development and engineering service capabilities and provide competitive value-added services to its customers.
It will enable quicker turnaround and lower cost for end customers.
'There is huge pressure throughout the automotive industry to deliver excellent quality while driving down cost'.
'By working closely with Jopasana we have been able to take a smart, high-value approach, and we have already shown that we can reduce engineering costs for our customers whilst maintaining our reputation for the highest quality', said Julian Styles, Head of Automotive at Pi Technology.
'We are extremely happy with this development and it comes at a time when the automotive electronics industry is looking up not only in Europe and in the US but also in India', said Ajay Phatak, CEO/Managing Director of Jopasana Software and Systems.
'The automobile industry is facing the challenge of competitive development teams and this relationship will suitably address that challenge'.
'Pi Technology had very clear ideas about the kind of Indian partner we needed', said Julian Styles: 'Jopasana fitted our requirements closely and our working relationship has developed very easily'.
'Very strong technical capabilities and process maturity are important, of course', stated Mohan Chaubal, Head of the Embedded Systems division at Jopasana: 'But most important of all is how close our organisations are in ethos and culture'.
'Both companies are working to see this relationship grow substantially in the next 2-3 years'.
