Fibre Channel devices drive towards
8Gbit/s
Integrated drivers and limiting amplifiers are designed to meet the need for backwards compatibility in the imminent 8G Fibre Channel market.
Phyworks is extending its Fibre Channel product line to 8Gbit/s with two key new products in development: the PHY1080 is an 8G integrated VCSEL driver and limiting amplifier designed for short-wavelength multimode applications; and the PHY1085 is an 8G integrated laser driver and limiting amplifier designed for long-wavelength single-mode applications Phyworks' new products are designed to meet the need for backwards compatibility in the imminent 8G Fibre Channel market
