RFID chip meets latest standards
Philips has released the industry's first RFID chip compliant to worldwide regulations supporting the EPCglobal standardisation activity for UHF
With recent RFID mandates, such as those from Wal-Mart, Metro, Tesco, Target and the Department of Defence that require logistics and supply chain systems to have RFID technology implementation by 2005, manufacturers are currently looking for ways to quickly and effectively employ RFID technology in their supply chain.
