Pebble Bay Consulting has moved to significantly larger offices to cater for a dramatically increased demand for its professional services

Pebble Bay Consulting (PBC), the UK based independent embedded software consulting house, has moved to significantly larger offices to cater for a dramatically increased demand for its professional services. This week, PBC officially opened its new headquarters in the historic town of Royal Leamington Spa in offices overlooking the Royal Pump Room Gardens; and notably within 11 months since the inception of the company.

The opening ceremony was celebrated with customers, and partners from around the embedded industry including guests from Wind River Systems, Green Hills Software and Mentor Graphics Embedded Systems.

Leamington Spa was chosen due to its central UK position and well served transportation links - all of which provide benefit to PBC's growing customer base around the UK and mainland Europe.

PBC has moved to the recently restored facility to accommodate the next phase of its rapid expansion programme, which includes a plan to further double the size of the company by the end of 2007.

The facility will house development teams, project managements and control functions for the company.

'We're very pleased to have found the ideal location in what is becoming a good low-cost technology region in the UK', said Nick McNamara, Commercial Director at PBC.

'These are exciting times for PBC and this new facility is proof that we are successfully responding to the demands of the market'.

'We are embarking on a further recruitment drive to double the size of our engineering and project management resource over the next six months and these new headquarters will enable this next phase in our business plan'.

Ian Willats, Consulting Director comments: 'I am delighted to celebrate the growth of PBC which continues to be driven by successful engagements with major customers'.

'Our first year of operation has demonstrated that we have a winning formula and we are now looking forward to building on our success with the increased capacity and flexibility our new headquarters provides'.
