Compact USB dongle modem allows control and monitoring of wireless sensor networks based on low-power 868MHz mesh technology.

European ZigBee pioneer One RF Technology has developed a compact 868MHz USB dongle modem to facilitate the control and monitoring of wireless sensor networks based on the company's low-power 868MHz mesh technology.

Based on the company's TinyOne Lite or Plus radio solutions, the 868MHz USB dongle modems offer the customers simple plug and play connectivity to a notebook or a handheld device, thereby allowing the customers to develop mobile solutions to monitor and control wireless mesh networks.

The small-sized TinyOne USB modems measure only 78 x 30 x 7.5mm, including an embedded antenna.

With drivers for Windows, Mac and Linux, the USB dongle modem can be easily integrated to any monitoring device.

In addition to monitoring wireless sensor networks, the 868MHz USB dongle is available with the company's standard firmware, S-One Stack, for simple cable replacement.

TinyOne 868MHz USB dongle modems are available now from One RF Technology and its distributors.
