Open Interface of North America and Leadtek Research have announced the availability of the LR9923 serial port Bluetooth module (SPM)
Products under development include cellphones, hands-free car kits, wireless printers and car navigation systems.
'InterEnergy has developed considerable expertise working with Bluemagic 3.0 in products on a range of host processors, operating systems and Bluetooth silicon', says Greg Burns, Open Interface's Chief Technology Officer.
'This expanded partnership helps customers quickly bring Bluetooth products to market without developing in-house expertise in Bluetooth'.
'Bluemagic 3.0's superior performance, support for all of the Bluetooth profiles, and extras such as CCAP support and a built-in CSS parser, make it by far the preferred platform for Bluetooth application development in all market segments', says Hirobumi Watanabe, InterEnergy's VP of Technology.
As a result of the partnership, home electronics manufacturers, cellphone manufacturers and OEMs of various communication products can now use the advantages of Bluemagic 3.0 software directly from InterEnergy in Japan, with the added security of a local support team in Japan.
