Programme smoothes way
to Bluetooth integration
Open Interface has devised the Bluemagic Solutions Programme to coincide with the launch of version 3.0.10 of its Bluemagic 3.0 embedded Bluetooth software
The Bluemagic Solutions Programme has been designed to extend the scope of services offered by Open Interface that assist customers in the development, management, and deployment of wireless technology products. This programme provides all of the pieces a customer needs to develop applications and devices using Bluetooth technology.

The Bluemagic 3.0 software suite includes the most complete profile and protocol support available in the Bluetooth market 24 profiles and optional protocols including GAP, SPP, HSP, Fax, HFP, DUN, GenOBEX, FTP, OPP, synchronisation, BIP, BPP, TCS binary, intercom, CTP, BNEP, PAN, SDAP, AVCTP, AVRCP, AVDTP, AADP, HID and HCRP support.
Other extensions new with the v3.0.10 release include an optional highly optimised SBC audio encoder/decoder and support for the Car Communication Application Promotion (CCAP).
An example of Open Interface commitment to quality is the integration into the Bluemagic 3.0 SDK of the FTS for Bluetooth Virtual sniffer from Frontline Test Equipment.
This software protocol analyser can be used on a Windows XP/2000 development system to debug and develop applications written using Bluemagic 3.0 software.
