Ribbons unite mothers and daughters
The ODU Mini-Fix card-to-cable connector system has been developed to connect printed circuit boards, such as mother and daughter boards, to one another with ribbon cables
Typical applications for this space saving connector are in medical equipment, telecommunications systems, mobile GSM modules for vehicles, basestations, test equipment, industrial electronics, data collection systems and general instrumentation. Based on a 1.27 x 2.54mm contact grid the connector is available in 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 way.

Card-to-cable connector meets QS9002 standard
The Mini-Fix card-to-cable connector is designed to withstand hundreds of mating cycles with high contact security and mechanical stability
It has been designed for high mating cycles, has a contact resistance of less than 6mohm, a mating force of 0.18N/contact and has excellent impedance values.
Two types of latching are available if required; plastic side levers giving the component an assembly height of 12.7mm or a metal clip that reduces the assembly height to only 9mm.
Items in the range include straight and angled solder-in headers, straight SMT headers, IDC sockets to mate with the headers and solder-in PCB connectors.
