3C 2005 (16th-17th February 2005, NEC, Birmingham), the UK's only dedicated event for buyers and suppliers of contamination control and cleanroom products and services, will feature two special training courses run by the Scottish Society for Contamination Control. The courses, on cleanroom technology and cleanroom testing, will be delivered by Bill Whyte, a Research Fellow at Glasgow University, who over the last 35 years has built up a reputation as one of the UK's leading authorities on contamination control and cleanroom design. The cleanroom testing course delivered on the first day of the show will explain how a cleanroom must be tested to comply with cleanroom standards.
It will encompass validation standards, air volumes and velocities through to differential pressures, air filter integrity tests and particle measuring methods.
On the second day, the cleanroom technology course will cover basic design principles, specifications and testing as well as cleanroom clothing and practices.
It will be ideal for those relatively new to the subject or those looking to refresh their knowledge.
3C's new management, Octo Media, is keen to ensure that 3C showcases the latest contamination control and cleanroom thinking - as well as the newest products and services.
That's why, in addition to the courses, 3C plays host to a series of free show floor seminars, delivered by some of the industry's leading companies.
For instance, Shield Medicare Consumables will explore innovations in maintaining a spore free cleanroom; DOP Solutions will discuss ISO14644-3 cleanroom measurements; MicroClean Technologies will outline how to control loose surface contaminants, and Guardline Technology will speak on the design and installation of quick build modular cleanrooms and cleanbooths.
3C 2005, which is sponsored by Cleanroom Technology magazine, is ideal for professionals operating in a wide range of industry sectors from automotive and electronics to medical, food, drink and packaging.
Visitors to the show will be able to compare a comprehensive range of contamination control and cleanroom products and services, discuss their future requirements with existing suppliers, discover what new companies have to offer, and share experiences with industry peers.
