Now in its 13th year, 3C is the UK's only dedicated event for buyers and suppliers of contamination control and cleanroom products and services.

Under new management, 3C 2005 takes place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK, from 16-17 February 2005.

It will showcase the latest products and services from cleanroom design and construction through to clothing, equipment and consumables.

Higher levels of manufacturing control focused around the protection of people, products and the environment, mean that it is increasingly difficult to keep ahead of the latest regulations and developments in cleanroom technology.

3C 2005 is the ideal platform for professionals operating in a wide range of industry sectors from automotive and electronics to medical, food and drink and packaging to stay compliant and competitive.

Visitors to the show will be able to compare a comprehensive range of contamination control and cleanroom products and services, discuss their future requirements with existing suppliers and discover what new companies have to offer, and share experiences with industry peers.

A new feature of the 2005 event is the introduction of cleanroom testing and cleanroom technology courses organised by the Scottish Society for Contamination Control and presented by industry expert, Bill Whyte.

The cleanroom testing course has been designed for people wishing to understand how a cleanroom must be tested to comply with cleanroom standards.

This course will focus on the reasons and techniques for validating a cleanroom and give insight into validation standards.

On the second day, the cleanroom technology course will cover all aspects of cleanroom technology for those relatively new to the subject, or who wish to brush up their knowledge.

Seven other manufacturing shows to visit.

Visitors who pre-register at www.threec.co.uk will gain free entry to the 3C exhibition and will also be able to visit its co-located shows: medical device Technology, Electronic Information Displays, Industrial Networks, IPOT (Image Processing and Optical Technology), Machine Vision, Machine Building, MTEC (Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation) and Practical Vacuum.
