Network appliance boasts applications flexibility

The latest addition to the Nexcom range of network appliances is the highly versatile and cost-effective NSA 1042

Based on Intel's Pentium M/Celeron M processor with 533/400MHz FSB, the 1U NSA 1042 is designed for applications requiring extreme reliability, low power consumption and versatile I/O configuration. With four fast GbE LAN ports, the NSA 1042 is capable of hosting a multitude of applications including unified threat management, voice over IP, antispam, antivirus, firewall, Scada server, session border control, VPN, content filter, access control and many more.

Like all Nexcom network appliances, the NSA 1042 is certified for use with Windows, Linux and free BSD operating systems and can be customised or rebranded to meet customer requirements.

The Nexcom range includes a diverse number of platforms from ultra-low-voltage Celeron solutions right through to 2U 'enterprise level' appliances with Intel's 64bit Xeon processor.
