Belden CDT Networking Division has released a complete line of Belden IBDN FiberExpress Secure/Keyed LC products

The Belden IBDN FiberExpress Secure/Keyed LC System allows for physical segregation of network segments in secure fibre cabling infrastructures. These products have been designed for the specific uses of government and military installations, but with security being such a prime focus these days, the use of these products can be applicable in segments of most of today's installations.

The product line includes Belden IBDN FiberExpess manager connector modules, patch cords, adapter strips and adapter modules.

These products are available with six different keying options, each carrying a different colour to facilitate network administration.

The patent-pending keying detail inside the components is totally tamper-proof and can not be reproduced inside a standard LC adapter.

Further, all modules used in this product line are keyed both on the front and on the back to prevent installation errors and security breaches.

The Secure/Keyed LC FiberExpress Manager connector modules can be used in 19 and 23in FiberExpress Manager shelves to provide a high-density management system of up to 1920 terminated fibres per rack.

The Secure/Keyed LC FiberExpress adapter strips can be used in all NORDX/CDT's FiberExpress patch panels for consolidation points or telecomms room applications.

The Secure/Keyed LC adapter modules can be used in all Belden IBDN mounting hardware such as MediaFlex plates, MDVO multimedia boxes and Flex patch panels for work area, consolidation point or telecomms room applications.

The Secure/Keyed LC patch cords are offered in multimode 62.5/125um (FX300), 50/125um (FX600) and laser-optimised 50/125um (FX2000) for the most demanding network performance.

Available configurations are KEYx-KEYx as well as KEYx-LC duplex and KEYx-SC duplex.
