Structured cabling comes to Africa

Due to the ever improving infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa, John Case, RCDD, CEO of KiTEK, details his first hand experiences.

"When I first came to Africa if you wanted to telephone the country next door, the call had to be routed through London.

Those days are gone.

Now it is possible to conceive of people in a village asking questions via an Internet link from their rural library.

To say that the idea of being able to provide people in Africa access to the vista of the world is exciting would be an understatement.
