"The major consideration when designing and installing a new installation is to ensure that the system is future proofed.
OM3 fibre ensures the most cost effective upgrade path for 10Gbit Ethernet.
The advancement in electronics, and the cost reductions that are currently being seen, will certainly enable 10Gbit to be a viable option, and we can clearly see 1Gbit being required to the desk.
It is inevitable that 10Gbit will be required in the backbone, and NORDX/CDT have the solution today".
This new 10Gbit Ethernet cable is another example of NORDX/CDT's goal to continue to provide technologically advanced products and state-of-the-art cabling systems and to lead the industry in cable design and manufacturing.
