The new site gives design engineers access to general technical information and also to detailed data about NIC's comprehensive range of low-ESR products.

The demand for low ESR capacitors has been driven by the industry wide trend for lower voltage circuit design.

Compounding this requirement further, is the reduced circuit tolerance to voltage variations that is seen in designs from most segments of the electronics industry.

In addition to PDF data sheets, the new website offers comprehensive crossreferencing information and online sampling.

Product selection is made easier by referring to graphical performance data; there is also a facility to directly email questions to NIC's technical support engineers.

NIC offers low-ESR liquid-electrolytic capacitors in both surface-mount and radial-leaded formats.

Solid-aluminium, polymer-cathode tantalum and Mn02-cathode tantalum electrolytic-chip capacitors are also available.
