NewLogic Technologies is claiming the world's first wireless multisystem IP solution supporting Bluetooth 1.1 as well as WLAN 802.11a/b/g standards.
WildBoost, the newest offspring in the NewLogic IP family integrates the recently announced Wild 802.11a/b/g IP solution with NewLogic's established Boost Bluetooth baseband as a single solution.
PCs and many other electronic products will need to support both Bluetooth and 802.11 to meet all user requirements.
NewLogic's WildBoost design uniquely satisfies this requirement by supporting Bluetooth and 802.11a/b/g.
It is prepared to support emerging standards such as 802.11e/i once these are approved by the IEEE.
"WildBoost IP allows leading edge semiconductor and system manufacturers to easily implement both, Bluetooth and WLAN technology in one system, enabling them to meet all user requirements", said Matthias Kaestner, VP Business Development of NewLogic.
