NEW stages educational show
National Electronics Week has announced plans to deliver a packed educational line-up at London's Earls Court 2 from 16 to 18 June 2009.
In addition to running confirmed programmes from organisations such as Electronics Weekly, Premier EDA and Advanced Rework Technologies, the NEW team is also offering exhibitors and visitors a chance to shape the exhibition by calling on the industry to set its own agenda.
The exhibition will include technical seminars, workshops and training initiatives, and the addition of the EW Live exhibition and conference from Electronics Weekly will showcase the latest designs.
Providing a technical marketing platform for semiconductor suppliers, distributors and test firms, EW Live will highlight product technologies and key design methodologies to development engineers from markets including wireless, security, transportation, medical and defence.
Key themes will include power management in digital processing systems, choosing the right wireless standard for a design and how Linux is changing the cost model.
Electronic design automation software specialist Premier EDA is running a series of three half-day workshops, providing an insight into PCB technologies.
Advanced Rework Technologies is returning to NEW with another seminar series, looking at issues such as process management and green technologies.
The NEW team is now appealing to exhibitors and visitors to put forward suggestions about what they would like to see covered.
