Inventor addresses electronics show
National Electronics Week is the UK's only dedicated electronics exhibition, and will feature a keynote address from Trevor Baylis OBE.
The National Electronics Week (NEW) keynote speech will be delivered by inventor Trevor Baylis OBE.
"Why Invest? Inventors, Inventions and How to Get Your Ideas to Market", will incorporate anecdotes from Trevor's long and varied career, which has seen him undertake roles including professional swimmer, stuntman and, of course, inventor.
Perhaps best known as the creator of the first ever wind-up radio, Trevor's Freeplay invention was awarded the BBC Design Award for Best Product and Best Design in 1996 and helped win him an OBE in 1997.
It also led to the launch of Trevor Baylis Brands, an enterprise that saw him team up with a group of experienced business professionals to help fellow inventors learn more about their inventions, how to protect them and seek routes to market.
Being held over 17th to 19th June at London's Earls Court 2, National Electronics Week is the UK's only dedicated electronics exhibition.
Show organisers are placing the theme of Learning and Discovery at the heart of the exhibition.
Spanning the entire electronics industry, from design and components, through to production and distribution, NEW will host over 350 exhibiting companies including Altium, DEK, Europlacer, Goepel, Interpower Components, MYDATA, National Instruments, OK International, Panasonic, Samsung and Seho UK.
