Crosspoint switches promise jitter
performance
The DS25CP102 and DS10CP152 work as splitters or multiplexers for high-speed signal routing and switching in OC-48 telecomms as well as SD, HD and SDI video.
National Semiconductor has added two low-power low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) 2x2 crosspoint switches to its PowerWise energy-efficient product family The DS25CP102 delivers the industry's best jitter performance (6ps typical) at data transmission rates up to 3.125Gbit/s, while consuming only 125mW of power per channel
