National Semiconductor has announced the DP83862, a low-cost, highly integrated dual-port 10/100/1000 physical layer transceiver.
The course will be presented by experts from National, with guest speakers from Coilcraft and the University of Salerno (Italy).
It will cover techniques, topologies and tools to address real-world design needs.
Each one-day course will consist of five training segments on: high current buck switching power supply design; forward active clamp design; new power supply solutions; practical design considerations; and optimising magnetics selection and design for power supplies.
All courses are free of charge.
Preregistration on the company's website is required to guarantee a place, which includes lunch and presentation handbook.
Seminar dates and locations are: 23rd February 2006, Birmingham, UK; 28th February, Tel Aviv, Israel; 2nd March, Copenhagen, Denmark; 6th March, Munich, Germany; 7th March, Brussels, Belgium; 8th March, Milan, Italy; and 9th March, Barcelona, Spain.
