The LM3475 is a hysteretic P-FET buck controller designed to support a wide range of high-efficiency applications The LM3475, available in a very small SOT23-5 package, features a hysteretic control scheme that enables a simple system design with no external compensation, stable operation with a wide range of components and extremely fast transient response

Hysteretic control also provides high-efficiency operation, even at light loads.

The P-FET architecture allows for low component count, as well as 100% percent duty cycle and ultralow-dropout operation.

Typical applications include TFT monitors, automobile PCs, vehicle security navigation systems, notebook standby supplies, battery-powered portable applications and distributed power systems.

National's LM3475 is priced at $0.40 each in 1000-unit quantities.
