National Semiconductor will go on tour this autumn to share its latest analogue technology and design tools at 19 live seminars in Europe and Israel "The art of analogue design - that's the power of National" is the theme of the 2003-2004 analogue seminar series hosted by National Semiconductor in over 60 locations around the globe

Presented by the company's expert analogue technologists, the one-day intensive technical seminars will start in Europe on October 27th in Espoo, Finland, and finish on November 25th in Warsaw, Poland.

During this month, National's analogue experts will travel a region spanning Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and Israel, presenting advanced analogue design concepts and practical application examples.

Although seminar content is aimed primarily at professional electronics engineers, it is also open to students, press, analysts, marketeers or anyone seeking information and insights into designing with analogue technologies.

The complete tour list as well as the agenda and entry point for registrations is available on National Semiconductor's website.

National has conducted these highly practical technical seminars since 1984.

Event highlights this year include a technology presentation by National's Electrical Engineering Hall-of-Fame member, Bob Pease, as well as a demonstration of National's revolutionary online design tool, Webench 4.0.

Each session also will feature the latest information on power management, amplifiers, audio/video, data conversion and interface technologies.

"We're delighted to have the opportunity to share National's expertise in analogue technologies with a global audience", said Suneil Parulekar, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Analogue Products Group, National.

"The seminars are led by National's internationally recognised experts and offer participants the latest information and tools they can use to design-in high-performance products".

At each session, National's gurus will discuss analogue theory and applications, new topologies, design troubleshooting, as well as the latest high-performance analogue products.

Lunch will be provided, and each delegate will receive a "Linear applications seminar" handbook.

Preregistration is required to guarantee that there are sufficient seats, lunches and handbooks at each seminar for all delegates.

A number of the events are co-sponsored by National's distribution partners, EBV Elektronik and Spoerle Electronic.

People who are unable to attend a live session in a city nearby may view National's Analog University, which includes a library of archived online seminars.
