National Semiconductor has finalised the sale of its Information Appliance (IA) business unit to Advanced Micro Devices.
National Semiconductor has finalised the sale of its Information Appliance (IA) business unit to Advanced Micro Devices Pursuant to the sale, AMD acquired certain intellectual property and assets of the IA business unit and hired 125 former National employees
Additional details will be available on 4th September, when National announces financial results for the first quarter of its 2004 fiscal year.
The first quarter ended on 24th August.
