'Mira' is Microsoft's code name for a set of Windows technologies that extend the capabilities of the PC to smart display devices anywhere in the home.
The 'Mira' demonstrations in National's booth include the TWN-5213 Web Tablet from Tatung, the WebDT 380 Wireless Tablet from DT Research and a prototype flat-panel home station from Wyse Technology.
National's conceptual convergence device, the Geode Origami mobile communicator will be demonstrated in Europe for the first time.
Origami is a multifunction device that shows the potential of emerging technologies by combining a digital camera, streaming online digital camcorder, videoconferencing, Internet surfing, PDA and email.
Origami uses many products from National's product portfolio including power management, audio, display, graphics, wireless connectivity (Bluetooth) and the Geode integrated processor.
