Measurement Computing Corp is to discontinue all Labtech products, including all versions of Notebook Pro and Control Pro from 30th September 2004. Until that date customers may buy an unlocked copy of the latest version of Labtech Notebook and Labtech Control for $500. These new unlocked copies will be licensed for unlimited, multiple installation within the purchasing company or organisation.

This policy will allow people to protect their investment and continue to use Labtech in any and all applications of their choosing.

The unlocked version will also eliminate the need for existing customers to call and request unlock codes as they move Labtech products from computer to computer.

Measurement Computing will continue to offer technical support with the same plans and policies as currently offered, though the company reserves the right to add reasonable service plan price increases in the future.

The company is also committed to maintaining the current version of the product and will address bug fixes as they are identified.

The company will also release the required resources and/or source code to any organisation that wants to create support for hardware interfaces not supported in this version.
