The Medicalline range of 1.5 and 2mm leads now has improved cable specifications and includes robust multistrand tinsel wire varieties

Multi-Contact has developed its successful range of Medicalline 1.5 and 2mm leads to incorporate improved cable specifications and the introduction of robust multistrand tinsel wire varieties. The extended range of Multi-Contact Medicalline 1.5 and 2mm leads features a new universal electrode clip to enable the simple connection of a variety of electrodes.

Previously the company's Universal ECG clips were only available with a single ended connector.

However, the product is now available with the option of a 4mm socket or a permanently connected lead fitted with either DIN42802 1.5mm touchproof sockets or E-DIN 42802-2 2mm touchproof plugs.

The enhanced Universal ECG is compatible with all leading ECG pads featuring snap stud, clip or simple tab connection.

In addition, Multi-Contact continues to manufacture to specific customer requests, ensuring ongoing design conformity, innovation and flexibility.

The Medicalline range builds on Multi-Contact's extensive experience in the field of contact elements, using proven MC-Multilam technology to meet the unique demands of the medical industry.

To underline how the product line is continually being enhanced by R and D efforts, Multi-Contact has announced the recent addition of tinsel wire technology.

These silver-plated tinsel wires are formed from multiple strands of textile threads braided with flat conductors.

The robust construction of these leads means that they are able to offer improved levels of flexibility, greater resistance to reversed bending and exceptional tensile strength - all highly desirable qualities in medical applications.

'These additions to the Medicalline range further enhance our product line to address the specific requirements of electromedical equipment', comments Multi-Contact's Technical Manager, Charlie Galiszewski.

'Our experience in this industry means that we know just how critical it is for all Multi-Contact components to be absolutely dependable'.

'Our vast research and development efforts ensure that the Medicalline range continues to embody both technological and industry progress, meeting the precise needs of our customers now and in the future'.
