Circular connector has IP 68 protection

MSC Vertriebs has announced the availability of the 14-position plug face from Lumberg's circular connector series 03.

These water-tight connectors to IEC 60130-9 standard are available as shielded and unshielded versions.

Due to their IP 68 protection rating, they can be used in outdoor applications such as control engineering or mobile phone mast-top applications.

In addition to the solder type versions, Lumberg also offers crimp versions.

There is also a complete range of crimping equipment available, from manual tongs to high-output machines.

All of these connectors come with a threaded joint to assure a safe connection.

They are suitable for signal and load currents of up to 5A.

There are cable-side connectors and a number of receptacles available, such as for front side or back side mounting, for cable or PCB soldering.
