New from Marktech Optoelectronics is the Dorado series of high flux LEDs. The Cotco LD701 high flux LED series offers high reliability and is ideally suited for illumination applications. High efficiency InGaAlP technology makes them well suited to meet the demands of automotive and outdoor applications.

The Dorado high flux is designed to operate at forward currents up to 150mA for a luminous output that is equal to or greater than the competitions offerings.

The LD701 series features a 7.0 x 7.0mm moulded lens package with an exposed pad design for excellent heat transfer.

This design greatly enhances thermal performance resulting in a longer product lifespan.

The Dorado is also ideal for backlighting, automotive signal lighting, architectural lighting, display and task lighting and an ever expanding array of signage applications.

Yellow (591nm) and red (633nm) are already in production, and will be followed by white, blue (465nm) and green (520nm).

Volume pricing for the Cotco LD701 Series is $0.79 each in quantities of 10,000.
