Nepcon stand highlights will include a live demonstration of the breakthrough M22XDL350 desktop automatic optical inspection machine

Marantz Business Electronics will showcase its extensive AOI expertise at this year's Nepcon exhibition, set to take place at the Birmingham NEC from 15th to 17th May. Teaming up with UK partner Process Support Products on Stand M80, Marantz' stand highlights will include a live demonstration of the breakthrough M22XDL350 desktop automatic optical inspection machine.

Featuring the smallest footprint of all the machines in the company's range of desktop AOI systems, the M22XDL350 supports comprehensive inspection of PCBs, including SMT and THT components, reflow and wave solder joints, and solder paste.

Building on the proven strengths of Marantz' popular CL systems, the 22XDL generation introduces an innovative new lighting concept, with three pulse wave modulated LED light sources and up to six different lighting combinations enhancing operator control for exceptional inspection accuracy.

This unrivalled operator control is further enhanced by Rep 22X statistics and repair desk software, also being showcased on Marantz' Nepcon stand.

Actively collecting inspection data from any 22X AOI machines in the network, the innovative software is able to monitor the inspection process in real time while simultaneously visualising collected data.

This advanced functionality can be applied to each PCB for repair purposes or collectively to generate process statistics and analysis, maximising operator visibility and knowledge throughout the entire inspection process.

Visitors to Marantz' Nepcon stand can also find out more about the company's new inline AOI system, L22XDL-520.

Uniting fast programming, reliable detection and true 24/7 operation on a single platform, the new inline offering is equipped to deliver near 100% uptime and enhance operator control.

On hand for the duration of the show, the Marantz team will also be introducing visitors to the recently launched M22XDL650 benchtop AOI system, capable of handling boards of up to 650 x 550mm and boasting an inspection capability of 100,000 components per hour.

The Marantz name may be familiar, but perhaps not in the electronics assembly market.

The Business Electronics division of Marantz is currently driving powerful process control and maximum production yields throughout today's electronics industry.

Marantz has over 3500 AOI machines in use worldwide, which makes it an industry leader.
