Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) is now shipping the MP7722, an ultra compact 2 x 20W Class D audio amplifier. Delivering 20W into 4 ohms (10% THD), and integrating four 180 mohm MOSFETs, the MP7722 achieves 93% efficiency at full output power. Available in a small TSSOP package, the MP7722 is the most compact solution in its class.

The MP7722 features a unique closed loop topology that provides excellent linearity with a very low THD+N of 0.06% at 1kHz.

MPS' proprietary variable switching frequency topology reduces the magnitude of EMI spikes during operation.

Other features include adjustable gain via two external resistors, power-on/off pop and click suppression and thermal/short circuit protection.

In addition, the MP7722 incorporates mute and standby modes for lower power consumption.

Samples and evaluation boards are available immediately. Request a free brochure from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS)....
