The A13 is a complete PC in double-Eurocard format for VMEbus applications that need graphics, and therefore Windows or Linux

The SBC is available with two different Intel embedded processors: the Tualatin Pentium III running at 933MHz with a 133MHz front-side bus, particularly suitable for compute-intensive applications; and the ultra low voltage Tualatin Celeron running at 400MHz, recommended for temperature-critical applications (-40 to +85C option).

Basic features of the A13 include 512Mbyte DRAM, an ATA-compatible CompactFlash slot, VGA graphics, USB for keyboard and mouse, Gigabit or Fast Ethernet and a real-time clock, watchdog and temperature monitor.

DVD/TFT/video and audio are supported via a transition module.

The A13 comes with a PCI-to-VME64 bridge with complete master/slave functionality.

The board supports a local 33 and 66MHz PCIbus, independent of the bus speed.

Software support comprises Windows, Linux, QNX and VxWorks.

Additional I/O functions can be added to the A13 through its mezzanine slots.

These are either two M-Module slots for industrial I/O, three PC MIP slots for further computer I/O or two PMC slots for telecomms I/O.

The signals of all mezzanine types are available at the front or via VMEbus connector P2.

If only one of the mezzanine slots is used, a 2.5in hard disk can also be mounted directly on the A13.

Four serial UART interfaces, implemented as RS232, RS422, RS485 or TTY - with or without optical isolation - can be added.

The complete SBC needs only one slot on the VMEbus.

Prices start from Eur 1795 plus VAT for single units.
