Battery deal adds backup capabilities
Micromark C and CD has signed a distribution agreement with EnerSys Europe, a division of the world's number one supplier of rechargeable valve regulated lead acid batteries

This allows Micromark C and CD to promote EnerSys' well-known Genesis range of batteries to create high quality backup power solutions for mission critical applications including medical, security, building services, telecomms equipment and industrial controls. 'The EnerSys range complements Micromark C and CD's product portfolio and technical expertise, and will allow us to add extra value to customer projects for mission critical products', said Tim Parker, Product Specialist at Micromark C and CD.

The Genesis NP and NPX range of high performance, rechargeable, valve regulated battery products is available immediately and allows Micromark to deliver high quality, competitively priced solutions from the market leader, for applications from 0.8 to 200Ah.
The range complements the company's semiconductor, passive, e-mech and interconnect product ranges, supported by the design-in knowledge to meet the diverse challenges faced by modern European electronic designers.
