Satchwell Controls, a subsidiary of Invensys, has named Micromark C and CD as its leading electronic component vendor for the year 2003 following a rigorous assessment process.
Satchwell's annual vendor of the year awards are given to the suppliers with the highest score in their vendor rating scheme with marks awarded by all departments that come into contact with suppliers.
60% of the score is based on delivery, quality and price, 30% on lead time, response, helpfulness, product supply and accuracy of paperwork.
The final 10% is given for additional features such as proactivity and terms and conditions.
Micromark scored 93% overall, achieving full marks in several categories, including delivery, quality and lead time.
"The team at Micromark C and CD worked extremely hard last year and achieved an excellent overall score.
We are looking forward to continuing and developing our relationship with them throughout the coming year", commented Alastair Gibson, Senior Buyer at Satchwell Controls.
