Systems developer celebrates successful year
The close of 2005 marked the completion of a successful year for Salisbury-based ML Electronics
The close of 2005 marked the completion of a successful year for Salisbury-based ML Electronics (MLE). During this time MLE has celebrated its 10th birthday, successfully entered the medical market, received the Investors in People award and been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2005 Wiltshire Business of the Year awards.

MLE, a developer of specialist electronics systems, was founded in a small countryside barn, by Mike and Sharon Lloyd in 1995.
10 years on, MLE is an established, profitable business operating out of a purpose-built complex on the outskirts of Salisbury and can count Ferrari's Formula 1 team amongst their client portfolio.
MLE works across a range of markets with recent notable success in the medical market.

One such success is the development of Plasma Surgical's PlasmaJet, an innovative coagulation device, which can reduce patient risk during surgery and shorten hospital stays.
In the past 18 months MLE has seen its staff grow by 40%.
Receiving the Investors in People award recognises the company's commitment to providing a unique working environment for its staff as it continues to expand.
MLE's staff are encouraged to work in cross-disciplined teams to develop different areas of the business and take ownership of changes happening within their workplace.
