Thermal printer add moulded bezel, making them ideal for panel mounting applications.

Martel Instruments has now enhanced the design of its easy-load MPP5600 Series thermal printers with the addition of a moulded bezel, making the range ideally suited to panel mounting applications.

Requiring a panel opening of 81 x 80mm, the moulded bezel has quick-grip securing clamps for ease of assembly and is available in standard colours of black or off-white.

Combining high speed and high resolution printing on 58mm width paper, the compact MPP5600 Series includes a 384 dots per line thermal "easy-load" mechanism to deliver high reliability and the zero maintenance performance associated with this type of printer.

Incorporating a wide range of advanced features, such as 5 and 10-35V DC power supply, RS232 and TTL interface and configurable options that include seven baud rates and three internal fonts, the robust MPP5600 Series is quiet, lightweight and versatile, delivering 24, 32 or 48 characters per line for use with text or graphics.

The MPP5600 Series includes a manual paper feed and configuration selection - accessed via a status button mounted either within the moulding or externally - and LEDs report "open door", "paper out", "excessive head temperature" and "low supply voltage" warnings.

Each printer within the range supports labels and dual-ply paper, and includes barcode capability.
